Venturing further into North Sikkim, you will discover Lachung, another hidden gem that bekons with its untouched allure. Nestled artistically in the lap of the eastern range of the Himalaya, the small city of Lachung is a much sought after tourist destination in the North Sikkim. Far removed from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Located at the altitude of 9600 ft at the convergence of the Lachen river, the Lachung city is around 125 km from the Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The name Lachung, which means 'small passage', completely justifies the city which share the border with the Tibet. Lachung is a retreat for those seeking an authentic connection with nature. The breathtaking view of the hilly landscape of the Lachung town is having the mesmerizing effect on the senses. Surrounded by the white snow-draped mountain peaks, this quaint small town will make you love this place with its picturesque beauty. This quaint town is a canvas painted with nature's brushstrokes - from vibrant meadows to meandering rivers and cascading waterfalls.
Nathula Pass is one of the most famous passes that connects the Sikkim to the Tibet. The Nathula pass is around 56 km from the capital of Sikkim and thus can easily be visited and get returned the same day.
Tour to Changu lake, baba mandir and Nathula pass lies in East Sikkim. Those are famous tourist sightseeing points near by Gangtok town. Trip to Nathula pass is little bit higher due to limited permit issued per day per vehicle. But we the VSTM Tourism can make it under budget by our proffesionals.
Our East and North Sikkim Tour Package is designed to refresh your mind in a short break of 4 nights and 5 days. The itinerary of this package includes the visit to the Yumthang valley famously known as the valley of flowers. Your journey starts from NJP. and then exploring the beautiful Lachung. Your stay is in Gangtok for 2 days and in Lachung for 2 days. On the third day, you will be taken for the amazing sight of the exotic Yumthang Valley.

DAY-1 : NJP/SGUJ/IXB to Gangtok (130 KM / 4 hours drive approximetly)
» Upon arrival at NJP/SGUJ/IXB, our representative will meet you and transfer you to Gangtok Deorali Stand.
» Enjoy the enroute scenic beauty of the combination of Teesta river and green hills.
» Evening at leisure-one can take a walk in the market.
» Overnight stay in Gangtok
DAY-2 : Gangtok to Lachung (102 KM / 5 hours drive approximately
» After a hearty breakfast in the morning, transfer to North Sikkim (Lachung).
» Enroute sightseeing - Butterfly falls, Dzongu, Sankalang etc.
» You can play with snow here.
» Overnight stay at Lachung
DAY-3 : Excursion to Yumthang Vally
» Get up early from bed in the morning.
» Quickly finish your breakfast and leave for Yumthang Vally.
» Your eye will be surprised for the first time when you see the hamlet of flowers at the beautiful Yumthang Vally.
» Overnight stay at Lachung.
DAY-4 : Lachung to Gangtok
» After breakfast check out from the hotel and ready to go again Gangtok.
» Move your car through some falls,i.e. Vim Nala falls, Seven sister falls etc.
» Evening leisure at hotel.
» Overnight stay in Gangtok.
DAY-5 : Excursion to Nathu-la Pass
» Wake up early.
» After finishing a healthy breakfast proceed to Nathu-la.
» Drive into mystry of Baba Harabhajan Sing Mandir
» During returning take a fresh breath in Tsongmo Lake.
DAY-6 : Gangtok to NJP
» Today is the last day of this tour.
» after breakfast check out from hotel as soon as possible.
» Transfer to direct NJP.
» Depart with a lot of amazing memories.
|POLICIES
Confirmation Policy
• The customer recieves a confirmation voucher via email or whatsapp within 24 hours of successful booking.
• In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email or whatsapp.
• Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confimation and a full refund will be proceed.
Payment Term Policy
• 30% of total tour cost will have to be paid during confirm the booking and the rest will have to be paid during check in the hotel.
Cancellation Policy
• If cancellation are made 15 days before the date of travel then 10% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellation are made 7 days before the date of travel then 20% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellation are made between 0 to 7 days of travel then 30% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Refund Policy
• The applicable refund amount will be processed within 15 business days.
**Sightseeing is subjected to the road conditions and the permission of proper authorities.
